I’m not sure if the hotel is undergoing a management change or something else, but the quality doesn’t seem to be the same as before. The loud noise from the A/C, slanting shelves, bugs, and a malfunctioning shower faucet — all these problems were present when we checked in. These issues should have been repaired after the previous guest checked out and before the new guest checked in, during housekeeping. I hope they will be fixed soon.

We needed a quick 1 night stay that was conveniently located, and didn't want to spend a fortune to pop in and out. Larkspur was perfect....clean, great location, staff was friendly, we got in late, got out early with a cup of coffee and breakfast and didn't break the bank!

This hotel was amazing. It is affordable, and so so clean and tidy. The lobby is beautiful and FUN. The staff were very considerate, attentive, and knowledgeable. The room was clean, the use of space was great, the shampoo, conditioner, wash, lotion smelled really good and were in large dispensers on the wall. I will look for this chain when booking in other cities. The only thing I can think of to improve it: get rid of the smelly carpet in the hallways. The laminate in the rooms is fantastic. The hallways outside of the rooms smell like cheap hotel hallways.

Convenient and Comfortable stay

We came for our daughter’s graduation ceremony. It is very close to UMich north campus, 10 minutes drive to the Stadium. Room overall is clean, spacious. Blind is not a blackout type, air conditioning is a little bit noisy. However, these didn’t bother us, we had good sleep. Room cleaning is an issue. First day, our room got missed and didn’t get cleaned, second day, after we met the cleaning lady in the hallway and mentioned our room needs cleaning, this time it did get cleaned, but the trash was left behind. Breakfast is abundant with waffles, fruits, sausages, eggs, hash brown, boxed cereals etc. Stuffs are really nice and helpful. Overall, we are happy with our stay. Will recommend to the parents who are visiting the school.

Hotels.com is no longer worth using, as the updated loyalty program is terrible. Also, in this case, Hotels.com had the wrong cancellation policy which unnecessarily cost me a night's stay after an emergency cancellation. Contacting the hotel was also zero help.

The TV did not work. The second room has broken tiles in the bathroom. Did not get the wake up when requested. The Worst problems is the pavers that stick up at the entrance that my Wife tripped over breaking her left arm humerus bone, over Twelve hours in the ER, AND STILL HAVE NOT BEEN CONTACTED BY THE HOTEL EVEN AFTER I CALLED AND LEFT A MESSAGE. THIS HAS BEEN OVER 10 WEEKS!!!

I suspect this property was nice at one time. It was very noisy and hard to sleep as you could hear doors shut all the time. The fan did not work in the bathroom. The sink in the bathroom was clogged with ramen. The tub had gunk in the drain and hair on the floor from whomever stayed prior to us. Would not stay here again!!
