Arrive to see 6 front windows completely gone with men replacing them. They worked from 8am-7pm. Wanted to nap but the drilling and constant hammering made it impossible. Decided to go to the pool. Closed for construction. I was told by front desk that it was on the site that they were under construction and that the pool may be closed - that was a lie. There was no warning. The room was clean. For remodeling there was definitely some things that still needed updating. Showers were still old and they had updated lamps but no USB ports anywhere- which I found strange because most hotels have those now. I was tempted to ask for my money back and go elsewhere but I was getting reimbursed by someone else for being there on business and it would’ve been more hassle than it was worth. Would not recommend this place mainly because the staff just didn’t care. I understand construction must be done but they didn’t care about accommodating anyone regarding it.

Renovating halted by the City of Ann Arbor? Huh? So they aren’t completely done, however, our room was wonderful. The bed isn’t too soft and it isn’t too hard, it is just right. 🙂 Clean, quiet, relaxing. Convenient to the express way and surrounding shopping and restaurants.

Clean, comfortable. Adequate breakfast...staff very nice...front desk woman pleasant...breakfast lady was on top of it. Pool warm enough to swim in, hot tub was closed. Reasonable price.

The front desk person was very professional , friendly, and informative. The property was undergoing some renovations and the smell was strong. The breakfast was very good, the best I have experienced. There was a woman at the pool (I don’t think she was a guest of the hotel) who was drinking alcohol and kept going outside to smoke for hours. This person then had a large group come and she even had a boom box. I think management needs to monitor the pool. The pool area was clean, the pool was clean and towels were placed on every chair. Once the renovations are done and the pool monitored, I would give it a 5.
