Feels like home! The loft is excellent, just be prepared to take your stuff through the spiral stairs. Affordable comparing with hotels in Ann Arbor. Owner and housekeeper are super nice!

Posting was misleading that this was the inn keepers house, and common areas like the living room and hallway were super cluttered and dated. Room was not clean. Filled with gnats. House was stuck in 1960.

I stayed in the b & b 5 years ago. Really love it. Owner Pat is such a caring lady. She counts guests as Personal friends. Bonus sweet snacks inside the rooms, so sweet after a long day. Pat cooked breakfast for us in person. You feel this b& b home. The room has all the premium subscriptions- Netflix, hbomax, Disney etc.

Quirky, cozy property adjacent to UMich

This quirky, cozy B&B, practically right on the University of Michigan central campus, will make you feel like you're staying with family. The bathroom could use an upgrade, but would you tell your grandma to gut rehab her bathroom? (No.) We had plenty of space to spread out and enjoyed all the free snacks, drinks, and breakfast. A huge perk is they let you park your car there all day after check-out if you have activities on campus.

Past its prime

Well, I think at some point in the past this place was probably all right, but it’s a bit past its prime now. Four of us stayed four nights total – – two nights in one room and then two nights in a different room when we returned to Ann Arbor after going up north. We had problems with Wi-Fi three of the four nights. The last two nights we weren’t able to watch television because of the Wi-Fi/television lack of connection. Our two sons watched sports events on their phone or laptop. It put a damper on things because we all wanted to watch the hockey games on the big screen together. For the last night, since it was quite hot, we turned on the air conditioner, which didn’t work. We opened one of the windows – – the only one with a screen— and slept with no covers on. Although the main, important areas were clean (bathroom and beds), the overall place needs a thorough cleaning and tidying up. Positive things about the place: delicious continental breakfast; nice treats given to us or that we could take whenever we wanted (cokes in the fridge, candy, little bags of different chips, nature Valley bars, etc.); comfortable beds; amiable Inn owner.
