Great house in a great location

The house is excellent, it is exceptionally clean, modern and decorated to a very high standard. Great place if you have dogs, as it is all fenced off. We enjoyed all of the house especially the hot tub and bbq area, the pool was a bit to cold, probably the time of the year. The house is close to the town centre, about 25 minute walk, which has nice restaurants, shops and beach. We would stay at this house again. Marrie and JP where excellent hosts and very helpful welcoming us to the house. Thanks for our wonderful holiday

Lovely area disappointing experience.

Listed as a beachfront property with sea views with pool & sauna, on arrival we discovered it is at least 35 mins walk to the beach and no sea views with limited outside space. The property and pool were lovely but we had several problems. First few days marred by ongoing electrical faults switching off fridge/freezers and air con at night. The Sauna described also never worked for our whole time there. Described as 7 bikes available we wanted to cycle to the town to get around but hosts advised we had to pay extra for this,15 euros each bike per week so we only rented 2, this was a big surprise due to the very high rental we had already paid for the property for our 2 week holiday! Also the loft room is hard to access with low ceilings, there was a small toilet up there but when used, it caused effluent to rise up through the shower below! We reported it and were told to only use this WC for urine only but they did not fix the plumbing issue so we stopped using the toilet and shower after that. Our hosts could not speak english, due to the many problems we told them on our last day we believe our bike rental should be waived, however Marie got very angry with us at the handover and began screaming and shouting at us! This was completely unacceptable and rude behaviour by a host and one we never wish to repeat. This ruined our entire experience of a lovely area, very disappointing.

Superb Villa

We had a fantastic stay here, everything about this villa was 5 star. We were lucky to have great weather so the pool was brilliant, as was the hot tub. Andernos-Les-Bains is a charming, unspoilt town and there plenty of other local places to explore. Marie & J.P. Are great hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended!

Wonderful family holiday

Booked to stay with my husband, sister, brother in law, niece and nephew. The property was stunning, it was exactly as advertised. Plenty of space for us all. Nothing was ever too much trouble for JP and Marie, they were very accommodating hosts, they welcomed us at the property when we arrived and gave us a full tour. The local town is a good 30 minute walk but once there you have a good choice of bars, restaurants and shops. The property is a great base to explore the South West such as Arcachon, Bordeaux and Lucanau

Perfect in every way

We had a great holiday and everyone agreed the villa was perfect for our family holiday. Marie and JP have thought of everything from the lovely pool area with outdoor kitchen and bbq to the bikes for exploring the local area. The area itself is great, you’ll have a large choice of bars, restaurants, amazing beaches and activities to keep you busy.

The best villa, it had everything we required plus lots more..

We required a villa that we could spend time at as we have a new born baby. The pictures do not do this place justice. It has everything you could require, everything is high quality, new and exceptionally clean. The location is very convenient as close to the shops, beaches and restaurants. Marie is very house proud and it tells. We were absolutely delighted with the place. We will definitely be going back here in the Autumn. Well worthy of 5 stars.

Excellent house and location

The house is excellent, better than expected. The house is exceptionally clean, modern and decorated to a very high standard. Our family of 2 adults and 2 children stayed for a week in the house and enjoyed all of the house especially the pool and bbq area. The house is responsible close to the town centre which had nice restaurants, shops and beach. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at this house. Marrie and JP where excellent hosts and very helpful with all enquires and welcoming us to the house. Thanks for our wonderful holiday xx

Wonderful House with Fantastic Facilities

The house is better than advertised, the pictures dont bring to life the full magnitude of the space and quality of what is on offer. No expense has been spared in the design, decor or furniture and the house has everything you could possibly need. The living area has large comfortable sofa's, satelite TV, games, magazines and books on offer. There is enough to keep you in the house all week without even venturing outside. We did however manage to drag ourselves away from the jacuzzi, pool and sauna and visited the lovely coast of Cap Ferrett which was so chic and served the best oysters. I would also recommend a trip to Arcachon Bay if not only to visit the huge sand dune de pilat which is amazing. I would also recommend a winetasting tour which we done in the St Emillion region, the town within the walls of medieval castle. There are some great Chateau's that you can stop off along the way and you also get to see the Dordogne River in all its glory. I would recommend booking this house, you will not be disappointed. Marie and JP are wonderful accommodating hosts that work with you to make your stay the best possible stay. We will most definitely be back.

Nous avons passé une très agréable semaine. La villa est magnifique et très bien équipée , tres bien meublée . Rien ne manque. Mieux qu'à la maison ! Le jaccuzi la nuit avec ses lumières colorées:un vrai délice! La piscine chauffée également ! De plus , nous avons été reçu chaleureusement ! Alors , un grand merci !

Familienurlaub in Andernos-les-Bains

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub an der Bucht von Arcachon. Wir wurden herzlich von Marie und Jean-Pierre empfangen, die uns alles Wissenswerte erklärten. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Wir verbrachten die meiste Zeit am riesigen Pool und haben zum Kochen die voll ausgestatte Außenküche und den Gasgrill benutzt. Wunderschön. In der Nähe sind zahlreiche leckere Restaurants, wo man sehr gut die französische Küche genießen kann. Der nächstgelegene Supermarkt ist etwa 1km entfernt. Von uns zu empfehlende Ausflugsziele: Dune du Pilat (ca. 50 Minuten), Plage du Grand Cohot (ca.20 Minuten) um im Meer zu schwimmen und Bordeaux (ca. 50 Minuten). Marie und Jean-Pierre sind bei allen Anliegen sehr hilfsbereit. Englisch und/oder ein paar Brocken Französisch sind absolut ausreichend zur Verständigung. Absolut empfehlenswert 😀. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wunderschönes Haus, toller Garten

Marie und JP waren sehr, sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Ihr Haus ist wunderschön, luxuriös und es fehlt an absolut gar nichts. Alles ist makellos sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Garten ist komplett umzäunt und man genießt volle Privatsphäre, da man nicht von außen hineinsehen kann. Highlight ist der beheizte Pool. Leider stand in der Anzeige nicht, dass die Poolheizung nicht ganzjährig angestellt ist, sondern von der Außentemperatur abhängig ist. Das ist aber unser einziger Kritikpunkt. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder!

VILLA DE CHARME SUPER EQUIPEE -

Dans le calme, cette villa à tout pour un séjour au top du confort. Tout est bien pensé pour le vacanciers de tout âge. L'espace autour de la piscine, avec accès direct à la grande cuisine pour repas extérieurs à été très apprécié de tous. Dans différentes pièces, linge, accessoires, vaisselle de qualité, sont à disposition pour une facilité d'usage et de confort. La pétillante hôtesse, femme d'imagination, a réalisé dans sa villa, une décoration moderne, lumineuse, chaleureuse. On découvre la variété des installations et des possibilités de vivre au grès de différentes aspirations. Nous avons passé un séjour décontracté, très satisfaisant, à renouveler surement et à recommander dans cette belle région de France.
