The hotel is convenient for the airport but only if you can get there. We were told there is a complementary shuttle bus but were not told that it stopped running at 23:00. Our flight was supposed to arrive at 21:30 but was delayed and we just missed the last bus. We then had to take an Uber at our own expense. Check-in was fine. The room decor was dated and could do with modernisation; for example, there were no power points or USB sockets by the bed. The bathroom was a strange shape and layout with lots of sharp tiled corners; whose idea was that? The double bed had two separate duvets, which was strange to us. My duvet had lost all its filling so was basically a thin blanket. We had the air con on because my husband was boiling, and I was freezing! We didn’t realise our duvets were of such different thickness. Breakfast wasn’t included and would have cost another CHF 23 - no, thank you. There is a convenient tram stop nearby which we were told about when we checked out. We went back to the airport that way to pick up our hire car.
