the hotel seemed dated but rooms were clean. its right by the ulu factor which was a pleasant surprise. will recommend the property to my family and friends visiting anchorage.

The friendly and helpful staff were a high point. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was quite good. The rooms were very large but with very little furniture, and no in-room tea / coffee making amenities, although there was hot water and coffee available in the lobby. Very convenient for the train station and there is a free shuttle 24/7

The desk guy must have been new.The first 2 rooms we were assigned were not cleaned. The third room was fine but there was something gross on the hand sanitizer, dust on the rails and stairs, dirty halls. The lobby was cold and uninviting. There was a big fireplace but the staff was not interested in lighting it.

This room was so dirty, the smell was overpowering and there were crayon makers all over the walls. The front desk moved me to another room and the smell was so stink I decided not to stay at this hotel. I would appreciate if you would refund my place of employment the amount they paid for this reservation.

The main reason I booked this stay was for the heated pool. It was “ out of service”. Shower curtain was too short for the shower so it flooded every time I showered. I was told I would need to give housekeeping 24 hour notice if I wanted my room cleaned. I felt like this was more of a hostel than a hotel.

Terrible terrible stay… despite making and paying for the booking for ahead of time, when we checked in, they said they weren’t sure if they had a room available for us or if the room was clean. Mind you, it was 10 o’clock at night. Additionally, the hotel was being used as a shelter for people displaced by the typhoon. Well, they do have great sympathy for the plight of these people, it was definitely not a relaxing or comfortable or ideal setting for a vacation we had paid for and there was considerable chaos and unhoused people making noise all hours of the night, causing us to experience multiple wake ups in the middle of the night.

The staff and accomodations were very good. Some of the guest in the hotel were very noisy. During late hours - early morning. The hotel security did their best to handle things ( I suppose). It was an unfortunate situation

Our first room had not been cleaned. The room they gave us next the door did not latch. We slept in there until someone touched our door and it flew open. We left and got a different hotel for the remainder of our trip. This property is a dump!!!

The breakfast menu was great! Ray, the attendant, was constantly keeping breakfast fresh and replacing food as necessary. He deserves more than a 5 star. Trisca, the morning desk clerk was very helpful and provided information as needed. Keep up the good work, it was a good reflection on the hotel on behalf of her. There is an Hispanic lady that works evenings or night that was not knowledgeable of the hotel's policies and procedures and therefore provided me with erroneous information and she did not display any hospitality especially for newcomers. On behalf of her, I checked out the hotel early in order to enjoy my stay at the Wingate by Wyndham Anchorage.
