The room was quiet. There was solely one light to switch on. No private light and no light. My bed wasnt made. The floor hadnt been cleaned for a while. Items that had been left behind by guests of the past were lying around. The bathroom was down steep stairs. Generally the place was grotty. I'm aware that Amsterdam is expensive but the price for this hostel wasnt justified because of the above.

The hostel is new and clean, however you should expect only the basics: clean bed and bathroom - that is all. Internet connection is poor in rooms. No kitchen and no socialising space. People eat and sleep in their beds and rooms are full of bunk beds.
