This hotel has been renovated and looks amazing. The new rooms are well designed and roomy, beds are comfortable. Restaurant and bar are excellent! My issue with this hotel is a big issue for travelers. Irons are not available to any rooms. Only option is to go to an ironing room with 2 irons on one side of the hotel, meaning if you are on the opposite side, you need to carry your clothes through the hotel, past the restaurant and bar. I asked why irons are not provided upon request, I was told that is because the hotel is too big. Then why only 2 irons in a small room off the pool and fitness center? Really bad hotel for business travelers. Also, a new fitness center was built but they filled it with really old equipment from their old fitness center. This hotel could do better.

We have stayed here after every visit to NL. It’s a large, beautifully furnished hotel that has very convenient shuttle to and from AMS airport. There’s a bar that serves bites and a beautiful dining room. Parking on-site is free. Nespresso machines, refrigerators and drawer safes are also a nice touch

First rate right from the start. The complimentary airport shuttle was very easy and convenient to and from the Hotel Schipol. Check in at the hotel was friendly and quick. It is a big complex, like a resort with a resort feel. There is a fitness centre and good sized swimming pool. Also available for rental are e-bikes, which we took advantage of to spend a day cycling around Westeinderplassen (West End Lakes) by Aalsmeer and through the neighbouring countryside. A very nice ride on the e-bikes. The room was clean and modern, although the bathroom could have been more inviting had it been in its own closed off area, rather than just a frosted glass door closing off the rather cramped space it occupied by the side of the room. Other than that, the room was very nice. The staff at the front desk, and in the restaurant and breakfast area were very helpful and friendly. The meals…what to say. They were very, VERY good. The quality, and quantity, of the food in the evening dining area was excellent. The serving staff was exceptional, answering questions and providing helpful menu suggestions. The breakfast buffet was very special. So many choices and so tasty. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such an array of fine food at a breakfast buffet. Very good. Overall the choice to stay at the Hotel Schipol was an excellent decision.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options. The shuttle service to and from the airport was very convenient and comfortable. We also really enjoyed the pool and sauna. Highly recommended!

My room was very spacious and had ample storage space. Very good restaurant on premises and there are several fast food restaurants in a nearby building. Airport shuttle runs on time as per schedule. Drivers were very helpful and courteous.

The airport shuttle was excellent - on time, spacious and comfy door-to-door service. We arrived early but still got a room (awesome) and it was super nice. The flooring was warm (floor board look), the bed large and comfy, the suitcase rack large enough for both our bags, room was warm and cosy. Good size desk for writing, making coffee etc. Great wardrobe with extra bedding inside. Trusty coat hangers (not the untrusting clip kind that cannot be removed from the hanging rod). Loved the bathroom with no door - straight to the bedroom area - who needs doors - they are such a nuisance. The shower was cool with its sliding door and big size. Toilet area separate was a bonus. Towels - good size and nice bright white. The whole room was well lit - so many hotels are using dim lighting these days - can't read, can't see to make drinks, can't see to have a shower, put make up on etc. Good size rubbish bins. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment there. Lovely fire place (would be nice to have a seat in front to enjoy this). Lovely and efficient staff. Nice place to have a drink and something to eat. Thank you and highly recommend.

A lovely room, quite large compared to most European hotels, with thoughtful placement of a raised shelf wide enough to fully open out two carryons. Plus, a luxurious shower room AND a full-sized tub. The hotel shuttle is convenient for returning to Schipol airport to catch trains to downtown Amsterdam. Highly recommend!
