This was my third stay at the Ruby Emma, and unfortunately, it was the worst. With ADE week in full swing, I expected a busy atmosphere, but nothing like this. During my previous visits, both the staff and facilities were excellent, easily 5/5. The hotel hosted two ADE events on Friday and Saturday, which made things even more difficult. The bar menu and seating areas were mostly off-limits, and the staff seemed more focused on managing the events than on attending to guests. Music played until 1 a.m. both nights, and from my room on the second floor, I could hear it clearly and even feel the vibrations in the bed. To make matters worse, housekeeping didn’t clean my room until Saturday, even though I checked in on Wednesday.

Absolutely stunning hotel stayed when running the Amsterdam Marathon and the location was perfect. The staff were a bit slow but think it’s mainly cause it’s all electronic check in ect but will defo be staying again if I run the marathon again next year ☺️

I recently stayed at the Ruby Emma and couldn’t have been happier. The hotel is within easy walking distance to the RAI Convention Centre and perfectly located for getting around Amsterdam. The staff were absolutely wonderful—friendly, accommodating, and always ready to help. Breakfast was terrific, with plenty of fresh options to start the day. It’s also very easy to reach from Schiphol Airport, making travel stress-free. Highly recommended for both business and leisure stays.

Loved that the hotel itself is super close to the metro, so could go in and out of the city center easily but also enjoy quiet time being a bit further out than the hussle and bussle. On top of that, the hotel itself was beautifully done, environmentally friendly and wonderful staff!

Beds were comfortable. Water stains on ceiling. No phone in room. Hotel sets temperature for all rooms. No help at ck in. No carts for luggage. Room keys didn’t work. Outdoor patio area awful! Never stay here! Outside of building attractive. No choice of lights in room— all off or all on. Towels had bad odor.

My bf went down to ask about closing times for the top floor restaurant Ventuno, was told ‘it’s a fine dining restaurant’ in response as if we shouldn’t be there he responded ‘I know’ - we’ve been together multiple times, he was in a puffer jacket and trainers because we’d just come from outside

The property is good for short stays. It is handy to trains and cycle ways. The room was clean. The room has an iPad that controls the blinds and lights etc. (A trick for older players!)
