I loved this hotel so much, it was really a great surprise! The location is perfect; you are within walking minutes of Zaandam station. The station is around 25min away from Schipol Airport and 20min to Amsterdam Centraal station, so it's a perfect alternative in terms of hotel instead of paying double price for a hotel in Amsterdam. You are also not too far away from the Zaanse Chans Windmills, you can take bus 69 to go there directly. The room is very specious (we had the TASTE Deluxe room) and we really liked the cheese theme wall of our bedroom. The room is clean and well maintained by the staff. The reception staff was also friendly. Overall, I am so glad I choose this hotel for its convenience and value for money. Also, you will see a lot of people taking pictures of it from the outside as it is very peculiar and the 'image' of Zaandam's architecture. 10/10!

Modern, clean, large rooms but some train noise

Pros: Great location, nice views on the 11th floor, modern hotel, very clean, large room and bathroom. Didn’t have time for the spa unfortunately so cannot comment on that. Cons: no hair conditioner provided; the bathroom has a window into the room, which is awkward for privacy; and you can hear some noise from the trains in the station.

Fun hotel in a great location

This hotel was fun to stay at. it is nice and clean and the staff was really friendly. The hotel bar and restaurant are excellent. It is very nicely located next to the train station and lots of food and shopping. It is a short 7 to 9 minute train into Amsterdam Centraal and about a 25 minute bus ride to Zaanse Schans. I will definitely stay here again.
