Our stay at the hotel was ok, but the location felt misleading. We couldn’t even find it when we arrived. One of the main reasons I booked was the walking distance shown in the listing. It said the Van Gogh Museum was a 9-minute walk, but it was actually about 25 minutes. The listing should be updated so the location details are accurate.

We had a great stay, Lovely small boutique hotel.. The rooms are very modern and spotlessly clean. Complimentary coffee machine and chill out/work space on lower level. The owner was a lovely guy and made us feel very welcome. Thank you 😊

The good: Room is nice, clean and spacious. The bad: 1. The location is pinned at a completely different area on Expedia, very misleading and adds a 20-min walk to destinations I wanted to go. Also made me concerned about the legitimacy before arriving. 2. The web key system is quite annoying - I don’t have data on my phone so every evening it’s a struggle trying to connect to WiFi from outside the building. 3. The secondary lock for my door doesn’t work - the lock and the hole in the wall don’t match. Made me a bit nervous about safety. Overall, not a terrible experience but would not stay here again.

Nice clean hotel but no staff ever seen through out our stay although we did return each day to find a nicely cleaned and tidied room. No reception staff at any time we were there and the automatic room key entry system is inconvenient and tricky. Location is a little too far out for most tourists requirements although not far to main tram stops.

Had a great 3-night stay at If Boutique Hotel. The elevator was convenient. The AC worked well and the property was clean. Wish there were more storage spaces in the room and a shelf to place toiletries in the bathroom, but those were not big deal for us. It's an easy and convenient walk to Albert Cuyp Market and just a 2 minute walk to a small grocery store for necessities. Would stay again!
