Good budget hotel, close to the Central Station

First off, let me say that the staff and Mickey are excellent. They are great. Everyone was extremely friendly and great to talk to. Donna was great and offered various suggestions for our stay. Keep in mind the rooms are very small and minimal. If you are ok with that then this is your place. Place was clean but rustic and old. Good beer selection at the bar and decent snacks to spend some time after venturing out in the city. Only complain was the harsh smell of being next to the red light district so you get all the smells and smoke that come with that.

Loved this hotel! Cute, clean, homey. Our group liked the location. Breakfast was excellent. We like the bar. Staff was welcoming and met every need that we had. We would all stay here again. Beds were comfortable.

Narrow room. Top floor

We were given a room on the 4th floor up a narrow spiral staircase. The bathroom was one scary flight down from our room. I don’t know what we would have done if there had been a fire. It was handy to the central down town.

The location is great with multiple restaurants and attractions all walkable. The bed and pillows were a bit lumpy.

Absolutely loved staying here for 3 nights. My room had the most amazing view onto the canal. Lovely and clean! Staff were so kind and friendly.

The highlight was the canal view for us,other than than it was a pretty standard small room.very close and walkable to central station. Canal view rooms are pricier and breakfast comes with a surcharge. Nothing exceptional about front desk. It would have been nice if there was a coffeemaker in the room.
