Great location in a nice neighbourhood about 15min walk from Central Station. Easy check in with Frances. While the room is on the smallish side is has everything you need, including a small fridge, coffee machine, kettle and plates and cutlery for meals. Bathroom is in an adjoining room and toilet across the hallway. We stayed 5 nights and had no problems with this at all. The bed is super comfortable, and the bikes came in very handy! We really enjoyed our stay!

Biking in Great Location

Frances is a warm and welcoming host. She welcomed us at the door on arrival showed us around. Her place is in a quiet neighborhood in the heart of Amsterdam. Everything we wanted to see was a short bike ride away using the bicycles she provided. Thanks Frances!

We stayed for 2 nights and it was a perfect location. It was not spacious but worked just fine. Francis made the check in process very easy and was a lovely host. We used the bikes one day.

Good location

Approx 20 mins walk from main station. Walkable to all attractions. Clean but VERY tiny bedroom with bed against the wall..not much room for 2 cases. Frances was very welcoming and allowed us to leave cases before and after checkin in/check out.

For tourists on the go

A simple but clean and functional accommodation ideal for those who are going to be spending most of their time out and about exploring Amsterdam. There is not a lot of extra elbow room in this property, but it didn't matter for us as we were only in the room to sleep. The room had a comfortable bed, was clean, is near to some restaurants, quite near a grocery store, and about 5 minutes from a tram stop. The owner, Frances, was pleasant and very accommodating. She even arranged a taxi to take us to the airport when we left. The neighborhood, a quaint area of Jordaan with narrow streets and narrow but tall row houses, was quiet during the night and we experienced no disturbances. While the use of bicycles was offered, we chose not to use them. This was a good room for us during our 3 night stay and we would stay again should we return to Amsterdam. The room offered a small fridge, water kettle, coffee maker, selection of teas and coffees, plates, bowls, cups, silverware, wifi, television, and various reading material.

Wonderful days in Amsterdam

We stayed four days in Amsterdam and stayed in one of the best neighborhoods in the area, Frances was super sweet, very motherly and her dog is really adorable! the room was clean and there was everything you need for those days. we were close to the Anne Frank house and in a very strategic position if you want to visit Amsterdam in a few days. highly recommended

Great location

Great location in the Jordaan area with most places within walking distance. Room was very compact but perfectly fine for a few days stay. Very close to centraal train station and surrounded by beautiful coffee shops and quirky pubs. Host was really helpful and answered questions quickly. Would definately stay here again if we returned to Amsterdam helpful and answrred questions

A lovely winter stay

We arrived unexpectedly early on a rainy day, but our host kindly adjusted to meet us and guide us personally through the check-in processes. She had communicated with us several days before we left to ensure our arrival ran smoothly. We had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The accommodation was as advertised with an advantageous location in central Amsterdam, not far from Anne Frank House, lively shopping, markets and restaurants. Perfect base for a mini break

This cosy little studio flat is perfect for a city break - it’s located in a fabulous part of town in a beautiful quiet street, a short walk from everything. Frances is a lovely host, and the room is clean and has a super comfortable bed. We didn’t use the bikes as was a bit rainy for cycling so we juat walked everywhere. Rosa’s, the local bar, is cosy with great wines, and no stay would be complete without the sublime applecake at Winkel, just moments away. This place is great value for money. Recommended.
