We arrived at the motel kind of late (after 11:00 pm), so I wasn't expecting much of an interaction from the front desk, but the gentleman working that night (I can't remember his name) was very friendly and attentive. He could probably tell I was tired and got us in our room as quick as possible. For a 50 year old budget motel, the lobby was up to date and welcoming.
The building our room was in was quiet, and the room was clean. We were on the 1st floor and couldn't hear anyone in the room above us, and could faintly hear the people in the room next to us.
The beds were older spring mattresses, so they were a little bouncy for my liking, but still supportive and comfortable enough for a good night sleep. The lady who turned down our room was really nice too.
The only negative I comment I have about the room was that there was some mildew built up on the ceiling over the shower, probably from people not using the exhaust fan during/after using the shower. But that's nothing that would keep me from staying here again.
