Lobby coffee not ready at 5am. She was cleaning the pot which takes a good part of two hours I was told at 4am. Still not out at 5am. Shameful since the whole Amarillo hotel vibe is servicing I-40 travelers. Met a guy at the elevator coming down for the same, I told him it wasn’t out yet, he took the elevator back up. Also, the fan in the bathroom ran constantly and I had no way to turn it off. The next morning there was a smell. When I told the lady she asked if it smells like sewer- In fact it did! I think they knew about this flaw and ran a fan 24/7.

The staff was wonderful. The only real problem was the air conditioning unit.. It sounded like a jet engine every time that it kicked on and whistled a constant tune when it turned off. It was hard to get a good nights sleep with all of the noise. Otherwise everything was good.

Breakfast was of low quality food. Thin bacon and artificial eggs. At least they tasted fake. No coffee in room not a positive but not critical. Staff nice. No outside trash can to help us reset for our travel.

Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The cleanliness and attention to detail was lacking in the room. The shower had several hairs in it. The hand soap was empty and the shower contained two conditioners instead of shampoo and conditioner. The floor mat was at the end of its life and needed to be replaced because it was threadbare.
