Deceiving Listing

The photos on hotels.com were incredibly deceiving. I walked into the lobby to be greeted by loud, obnoxious music coming from the venue next door. Checkin took an unreasonable amount of time. When I walked into the room, I was shocked. It was so run down and dirty, and didn’t look a think like the pictures from booking. I didn’t want to put my items down on any surface. There was a bug trap in the room, dirt all over the a/c unit, mold in the shower, stains on everything, and a horrendous black painted wall, likely covering up filth. If it hadn’t been so late, I would have left and found other accommodations.

Clean but very outdated

It served it's purpose. Room was clean but it's very very very outdated. It looks like it would be an upscale hotel in the 70'/80's. Shower was great. Clean towels and bedding. No BUGS!

Don't be fooled by the pictures

I was just passing through and looked at this on the website and the pictures look good. But once you enter the room the pictures are just misrepresenting and its a very run down hotel. Heater don't work and lots o noise from people in the atrium.

Not completely renovated, but getting there.

I could see that the Hotel was making improvements, but I did not get a room that had been updated. I was disappointed since I was looking forward to staying in the room that was pictured on my reservation. I do think this will be a nice place to stay when the remodeling is complete, but I don't think you should rent out the old rooms either.

Nice friendly staff. The hotel is undergoing renovations to up grade the rooms. Sadly we had an old room with a large crack in the wall ald spackled walls and ceilings. However the bedding was clean and the room spacious. Pets stay free and a limited breakfast was complimentary

Everything in our room (301) was needing updating. Paint so patchy. Electric sockets had openings around them. Splattered paint in bathroom on floor and door. Lamp shades old and cracking badly. However the family / community area was great. Closest elevator was not working.

I absolutely loved this place! It was better than I thought. They are still under some renovations but kept it clean. They have a pool, regular slide for the kids to play on, putt putt golf, giant cornhole, big connect 4, and 2 shopping areas. They have a large eating area for breakfast. The free breakfast is very basic and the hot meals (eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and such) are $6.99 a plate. It was very beautiful inside with live plants and trees. We didn't get to visit the bar part due to having the kids with us but seemed very lively and good music. The shopping areas were awesome; it included western blankets cowhide rugs, western earrings, jerky, purses, hoodies, jeans, t-shirts, some children's clothes, and more. We will definitely be coming back!! I took away a star for the unknown cost of breakfast because I selected included for my search and didn't know that the hot food cost. It was still a good price but no second plates and unexpected. In the bedroom, the HUGE double shower, only one side worked. It wasn't a big deal because we were still able to shower, but when I notified the front desk, they already knew about it. It also would have been nice to be made aware of that issue prior.

Really liked this hotel very good hotel especially for the value for money, staff are friendly only down fall I can say is the hotel door didn't feel very strong but that just may of been out hotel room, I'd definitely stay there again
