We only stayed here for 1/2 way driving to Colorado Springs. Con: The room was very outdated, rusted, broken, floor made squeaky noise, cracked…. Breakfast was very average Pro: convenient location, clean enough to get through one night, quite, decent price Probably won’t stay here again

Our room was somewhat dated, particularly the sitting area. The couch and chair were stained, and the cushions lacked any fluffiness. There was a faint sewer smell emanating from the drains in the bathroom. One of the maintenance staff came by and added some cleaner to it, which helped. The beds were comfortable, and breakfast was good. Overall, it was not terrible, but not brilliant either.

The building has a very worn out appearance. The tiling in the bathroom is cracked and some caulking around the tub is not sealed In this day and age at least one or two ports should be available. The lamps did not all work besides being so old that it was difficult to reach the on off switch. Three times I had to go to the front desk because my access card would not open my door. The comment was made: Yes we have problems with the magnetic strips on some of this. If you could only imagine how utterly inconvenient that was.

Almost the perfect property for a family, but one major setback that spoiled the stay for my family was the curly haired woman on staff working breakfast. I am traveling alone with kids and she made a massive deal from a small spill of milk on the bar and a few other small mistakes like some spilled cereal pieces on the ground. I understand she works hard to keep the breakfast area clean, and I’m a very attentive parent trying to help her keep it that way. But when my kids had this spill, she started bad mouthing us in the kitchen area off the dining space and it was audible. My kids were upset thinking they did something wrong - all they did was make a minor mistake, nothing on purpose. They were sheepish about breakfast the second morning, and that made me sad. They’re great kids. They didn’t deserve to be bad mouthed for quite literally some spilled milk.

It was okay. Beds and breakfast weren’t “the best” I’ve had at this price point, but they were ok. If you’re looking to enjoy their hot tub, as an adult, the temperature is actually really great. Jets don’t really give you much pressure, but that’s fine with the temp! Recommendation: don’t expect to enjoy the facilities during the weekend. Kids LOVE the huge hot tub.

First off we waited at check in for several minutes with a child hollering behind the door. When the lady did come out, she wasn’t too pleasant to deal with. Secondly our beds were definitely not as soft as the last time we stayed. It was like sleeping on a board. We woke up sore and tired because we didn’t sleep good on the beds. But we had to get up early for kids surgery the next day, so we just checked out and left.

Great place to stay for the price.

Friendly staff. Affordable Clean Rooms. Property is well kept and we always feel safe when we stay here. This is the only place that we stay when traveling through Amarillo.
