Head to the nearby market town of Alford (3.5 miles) for a generous choice of independent shops, and places to eat and drink. For days by the sea, the dog-friendly sands of Huttoft Beach (8.5 miles) offer a good option, as do the coast path trails around Anderby Creek (10 miles). For a slice of local history, discover Theddlethorpe Beach (10 miles) where the famous ‘Tank on the Beach’ sits. Golf enthusiasts and keen anglers will be happy to hear that Woodthorpe Golf Club and a well-stocked fishing lake await within 2 miles.
