You get what you pay for

Im confused as to who has been writing the reviews for this motel. We were concerned to pull up in the parking lot and find people just loitering around. I don't want to sound judgemental but it essentially looked like a crack hotel. It offers low cost weekly and monthly rental. The manager was very friendly and advised us to let him know any time if we had any concerns. We made it to the room and within 15 minutes had some guy knocking on the door, only to say "Sorry. My friend rented this room last". It was a bit strange. The room was semi clean, but was still grotty with dirt and hair pins around the floor in the corners. We did manage to get a decent night sleep with no interruptions though. End of the day, you get what you pay for, and it was cheap. Police told us not to walk in the area as there are a lot of homeless and drug affected people around here.

This was an absolute NO from the start. We checked in and then went to pick up our baby from her grandparents to come back to our room, when we came back to our room, there was a lot of weird things happening and a worker was yelling and trying to get rid of someone from the premises. Anyways, my boyfriend went to check the room and found that the bed wasn’t made, it actually looked like people had just left the room. It wasn’t the double bed that we purchased online. Bathroom and toilet were nasty, and there were roaches everywhere. He took a video for me because he knew I was not staying there and that is not to sound rude or anything, he just wanted me to see without having to physically go in. I immediately went to check out of the room and was told we can only be refunded back for two nights because we checked in earlier and didn’t say anything. Basically, he said we’ve been there for longer than 5 minutes so he can’t refund the whole three nights even though we didn’t even sit in the room, yet alone the premises for long.
