Good location, it's only 3 min from the station on foot, and many places to see/visit, such as Vitre castle, Notre-Dame church, restaurants for crape. All hotel staff were very kind and friendly.

Perfectly located. Ample metered parking outside and locals tell me there is even free parking a bit further. Room was great and the little corridor to the bathroom was so spacious. Friendly reception downstairs too.

a little worn but we had a pleasant stay

The hotel is a little worn but, the breakfast, location, and hostess will more than make up for that. It's located within easy walking distance from the train station (about 3 minutes) and in the old town. We enjoyed our stay in Vitre. Largest cup of coffee that we had in France at breakfast.

Comfortable, clean, good value stay.

The room and bathroom were dated with respect to decor. However the things that mattered were spot on. Very clean, bed and linen were very comfortable and looked very new. Lady on reception very helpful; she prefers to speak French rather than English, which was fine by us. Restaurant next door is excellent. Breakfast plentiful, good service, good value. The hotel is located just on the edge of the historic centre, so very easy to explore the lovely town.

Very friendly owner and good hotel

I spent a night in Vitré and I was delighted to meet the owner of the Hotel. She told me what to visit, where to dine, etc. She is very friendly. The hotel is correct, with Wi-Fi and a rich breakfast.

Cycling through France

Group of four friends on a bicycling holiday through France. Brilliant bicycle friendly hotel in Vitre run by a wonderful friendly and very helpful (bubbly) lady. Great start to our cycling holiday

Excellent Location

This hotel is situated right in the centre of Vitre. A beautiful medieval town served by a good rail link. There is a wonderful church and many shops and cafes . The is a castle and park in easy walking distance

A Hotel not to miss

We couldn't have been made more welcome, the Hotel is right in the middle of the town and close to restaurants and within walking distance of a great deal of history. Madame was very helpful and we would certainly stay there again. Brilliant Hotel - try it.

The best breakfast in Europe!

The absolute best breakfast in Europe on our two week trip ... and 9 hotels .... The hotel was getting repainted on the outside so there was plastic over our windows. There was a strong bleach smell from when the bathroom was cleaned and you couldn't really open the windows to let in fresh air. They have the absolute nicest hotel staff and the best breakfast. Eggs made for you specifically in the morning the way you like them! Made me feel like I was back home at Mom's!

Charming Small Hotel with Superb Staff

This is not a fancy hotel, but it is well located, reasonably priced, comfortable and clean. Vitre's main historic sites are within easy walking distance. The hotel management is so very welcoming and friendly. They are a delight. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Friednly hotel, good location

A lovely, family run friendly hotel, close to the centre of town but also quiet. Breakfast was wonderful, comfortable room. Some decorating ongoing, but it did not spoil the stay.

Personnel très agréable, serviable. J avais demandé une chambre peu bruyante et ma chambre a été changé en conséquence. Même si ma chambre côté cour est aussi cote rond point même si il y a un couloir entre la chambre et l extérieur.
