The first night was lovely and put us in the mind set that we were going to have a brilliant stay. Al most of the staff were really good there was one or two that didn't have amazing costmer service and found it but a little bit of a downer on are stay. A smile and a helping hand means a lot and just how something is said can make so much of a difference. And its not fair on all the other staff that are doing an amazing job to be put down by one or tow bad eggs. The place is very pretty and an a good place to go.

The room was clean, the pool area was lovely. But of advice, if you are fussy with pillows, take your own! Theirs were as flat as pancakes! We booked a canal view but didnt get one. The hotel wouldnt do anything the next morning as we hadnt said anything the previous night. I explained it was dark! My issue was, we booked and paid extra for a canal view and they knew we hadnt had one..so surely they should see that as their mistake. The pool area was really nice and relaxing, cant fault it. The communal toilets could have done with a good clean! All in all a nice stay

Food was good, varied menu. Afternoon and evening menu was goid. Breakfast had plenty of variations and was self-service. ( Even people in PJ's getting food) Tables not cleaned properly,they felt sticky. Furniture was in a poor state, dirty chairs, however there did seem to be some newish ones, but we were unfortunately given a table with dirty chairs. The bedroom was below average, bed base was sticking out on the one side and not clipped together, marks on the wall, I'm not sure if they are being decorated but the paint work was patchy with blue showing through the lighter top coat. Dusty lamp shades .. unfortunately the housekeeping or the accommodation was not up to a 4* rating. Very disappointed.

Clean room, lovely staff, spa was very busy but peak time, evening meal in Waterside restaurant was lovely and service excellent. Only reason I marked down on the stars was we couldn’t get 4g or WiFi and the water was off at the spa for 90 mins so couldn’t shower there. I had a treatment whilst I stayed excellent and would definitely book that again.

Room was dated and poor condition in some areas. We arrived to check in early and told we would be informed if room was ready early, it wasn't and considering we arrived at 1 I was confused as to why our room didn't seem to be cleaned until just before we gained access. Pool was cold and not what I was expecting from a spa experience.

Checked out throughout the night, too hot, bathroom fan did not stop and kept going being quite loud. Due to this left as we couldn't sleep so missed out on the spa and breakfast.
