This is an old holtel, to be honest it reminded me of that hotel in the movie the The Shining. It looked haunted and the elevators sounded like a death trap. It moaned and creaked and sounded like it would get stuck or fall at any moment. The rooms are a bit small and the bathroom is tiny. The air conditioner in my room was ancient and too loud, or maybe it seemed loud because the room was small. They do offer a wide range of breakfast option though, so far, they have the best options of all the hotels that i have stayed at. I do believe if the place got a paint job, it would do much for the atmosphere.

Adequate and well-priced

For a three-day stay while I was mostly attending a conference, the room here was very adequate. No luxury but everything I needed: quiet location, comfortable bed, good desk setup, closet, bathtub with shower, coffee set, etc. And it had the bonus of a small refrigerator and microwave, as well as an outdoor pool and hot tub. I occasionally heard a few noises from the room next door and the one above mine, though those were not loud and okay for me. Other more noise-sensitive folks might be bothered by the thinner walls, but I wasn't. It's clear the rooms have been refurbished, tell-tale signs like a chip in the bathtub enamel, and it's been done well. The price was absolutely commensurate with the state of the room, so I felt like I got what I paid for. There was complementary breakfast, but I ate at the conference, so I didn't experience it. No room service, but I could easily order from a delivery service (Door Dash, Caviar, UberEats) and with the refrigerator I was able to save leftovers for an extra meal. If I happen to be in the area again for an event at the Lynnwood Center, I would definitely stay here again. The short walk over to the conference was another bonus. I didn't need a car at all for my stay. I didn't use it, but there is a light rail station very nearby as well. All in all a decent choice for lodging if you don't need luxury.

Bad Room

Very Disappointed, check in around 1pm, got a room cross from the elevator, in a narrow hall, very noisy. The room has very small bed for 2 people, I thought it was King size but after confirming from front desk, it was Queen size. Overall, the building is old, in room carpet was filthy/dirty with inks all over. The water pressure was slow, and the air conditioner was not working.

just overall creepy. looked like there was a couple men there just hanging out with staff. As a woman traveling alone, it put me on edge. The hallways smelled like wet dog. housekeeping staff was not friendly at all. i now understand why this hotel was rated on the low side.
