The property is in a great area right on the beach but the room (presidential suite) is really small for four people. The upstairs area had a very bad smell the whole time. The room was crowded and oddly decorated. The food was great though and staff very friendly and nice.

Such a cute small boutique hotel with the friendliness staff ready to help make your trip as comfortable as possible. Located right off the main beach road made it an ideal place to ease into our trip.

The property was beautiful with the view of the bay. The dining options, especially the private dining room upstairs was exceptional. The staff from checking in to the bar to the waiters and the renowned chef were all amazing. I only wish I had more time to spend with them. Very nice thank you

One of the coolest properties I’ve stayed at in Portugal! We stayed in the Presidential suite which has a roof top with a jacuzzi! Definitely worth the upgrade! Only negative is we ordered a bottle of Champagne to our room and it ended up being 125 euro and the food/breakfast even champagne wasn’t very good. So stay for the stay but eat elsewhere!

The place to stay.

Great location, great service and staff and great food. We discovered a flat tire on our rental car after we checked out and the staff contacted the rental car company and arranged a taxi and a tow truck to get the tire repaired. They went beyond!

our day was amazing the storytellers palace. The views were beautiful. We sat on the balcony and had coffee in the morning. We had one meal there that was outstanding. Overall, our experience with the staff in the hotel was very impressive.

Everything was great except for parking streets behind hotel parking is free but sometime it takes awhile to find a space on the weekends. Beautiful beach across the street. Many cafes in the area

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The staff was fantastic. The food was outrageous. Everyone was so friendly and so helpful. I can’t wait to return. If you are in the area, you definitely need to stay at the storytellers Palace…Marco the owner is just a wonderful wonderful person. We all had so much fun And it was a beautiful place to stay. Lovely looking hotel, staff were friendly and efficient but the hotel was far from sound proof. Unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel as we could hear all other guests conversations and coming and going throughout the night. Not what you expect at this price point.

Lovely bespoke accommodation option by the seaside. Each room is dedicated to an author and has books from that author in the room. Very friendly staff and the restaurant was excellent!
