Situated on a cliff overlooking the Navarro River, the local beach, and the ocean, this retreat provides a relaxing, naturally pleasing sanctuary and a perfect base for exploring the local area. This family-friendly home is stylishly furnished and has a generous set of amenities, an outdoor sauna, and lots of space to roam. Enjoy the privacy with family and friends, take a walk on the local trails and beaches, visit the redwood forests, Mendocino City, and enjoy the food and wine of the region and the multitude of recreational activities. We stayed from August 25–27 with my parents (in their 80s) and our two teenagers while visiting our older son’s new art studio, “The Studio Mendocino”The house was the perfect home base. The location is absolutely breathtaking, with endless views of the ocean and nature all around. It felt peaceful and private, yet cozy and welcoming. The house itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could have needed. The kitchen had every tool and dish imaginable—so easy to cook in—and the labeled cupboards were such a nice touch. The bathrooms were also fresh and well stocked with towels, soaps, and shampoo.We will definitely come back and stay again on future visits to Mendocino.

Albion retreat

This place was amazing! It was spotlessly clean and the three bedrooms were perfect for our group. It was a nice relaxing weekend, the sauna was an added bonus. The host was easy to communicate with. Definitely recommended! I could watch those epic views all day long.

Soul-replenishing location

The views from this home are incredible. The ocean, river, forest terrain make this an inspiring location to replenish your soul and reconnect with loved ones. This house is loved… the owners have put in beautiful, high-quality finishes into the home. The property is great. While I usually look for homes with a tread for running/walking, there is a loop on the property with amazing views that I used each day of our visit—didn’t miss the tread! Also, the sauna is perfection. Secluded away from the house and maximizes the ocean view. All I can say is this sauna must be envy of other saunas… The location to Mendocino is perfect—Away from the hustle and bustle but close enough for fine dining and shopping. We’ll be back!

This house is incredible!! It is our second time staying here and can’t wait to come back! The house has everything you need to be comfortable. The beds are very comfortable, and linens are wonderful. Easy drive to Mendocino for shopping and groceries. The house is modern and clean and exactly like the pictures. One of the best things is the incredible view from every room, stunning!!! You will not want to leave!

Don’t wait on this house. It’s everything you need to add for your perfect Mendocino vacation. Perfectly situated to enjoy all that Anderson Valley, Mendocino and Fort Bragg has to offer. Amazing stop along our HWY 1 travels

Property is pretty amazing, everyone was in awe of the house and location. We all wished we could have stayed more than 2 nights but we had an agenda as we made our way up to Cannon Beach. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to book your stay here.

Beautiful property and location

The property is absolutely gorgeous and the host was very responsive and provided great suggestions. It rained the first day but it only made the house more impressive and we spent the day doing puzzles and watching movies and then woke to a spectacular view and quick trip to Mendocino. The unique home on Navarro Ridge, Mendocino County is a comfortable, tastefully designed modern property with spectacular views. The three of us enjoyed an all to short week experiencing its delights. The house is incredibly spacious on the inside, yet blends modestly with the landscape.

Fantastic Modern Home with Killer Views!

Highly recommend this home - the location and views can’t be beat. We really enjoyed opening up the living room walls to let in the ocean breeze around sunset. The home itself seems brand new- it is very well designed and decorated. It is conveniently located just south of Mendocino. We will be back!

Pictures don't capture the serenity of the view. The interior is as pictured, modern and clean. EVERYTHING in the home is new, unlike many vacation rentals where things are mismatched odds and ends. Linens and bathroom amenities are hotel quality. You can pair your Bluetooth device to receiver for music, good speakers in ceiling. Peaceful and awesome views make this a great retreat. Mendocino and Fort Bragg close enough for what you need. Several good restaurants closer to property also. Bjorn was great host!
