Kenya's Home is the perfect place to relax & renew. Our beautiful vacation home nests on a high bluff with breathtaking panoramas of the Pacific Ocean, at the junction of Anderson Valley wineries & the majestic coast. Sit on the deck, take a soak in the hot tub under the stars and enjoy the Mendocino Coast lifestyle.

This is a great place to enjoy as a couple or with friends and family. An 8-minute drive north takes you to historic Mendocino Village. Hiking trails & beaches nearby. Many opportunities here! Stay inside and enjoy the comfort of a well-stocked kitchen, beautiful views, the warmth of the fireplace or embark on an adventure to explore any number of our area's outdoor activities.

A couple things to note before booking:
- This is a rural property on a septic system, so, toilet paper cannot be flushed -- it goes in the trash bin. We only allow up to 4 overnight guests because the septic cannot accommodate larger groups. Please make sure your party is comfortable with this before booking.
- The property manager may be on site during your stay, as well as other vacation rental guests. We are all respectful of each other's space, but if you are looking for absolute privacy, look elsewhere! The hot tub and decks are private for your use only, but the parking area and driveway are shared.

beautiful spacious house, perfect for big groups

We stayed as a group of 8 adults and had a great stay! The property was very well maintained and had a gorgeous view from the deck. Kitchen was huge and had everything we could think of, which was great for cooking large meals. The host was friendly and very responsive/easy to get ahold of, which made everything very smooth. A few upgrades to the bedrooms and bathrooms (new mattresses, bidets in all 3 bathrooms because of the septic system) would be nice, but it didn’t detract from our stay. Overall would highly recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably-priced group stay near Mendocino or Fort Bragg!

Dog-friendly, ocean-view home away from home

We so enjoyed our visit to Kenya’s Place for 4 nights. The single-story home is very comfortable for a group, with more than enough rooms and amenities. Highlights included the spacious hot tub, ocean views from the kitchen, living room, master bedroom and deck, and the fact that our two small dogs were welcome. The wheelchair ramp was very much appreciated for my aunt who recently had hip surgery and walks with a cane. Wi-Fi worked well for us, so we could do a bit of remote work. It would be fun to come back with a few more family members! Communication was excellent and prompt. Loved the easy check in and out.

Beautiful coastal property

lovely view of the ocean, hot tub, 4 bedrooms not 3 and gardens and area around the house well maintained so walking is easy for people and pets. lots of lovely outdoor and in door places to sit and relax. Wonderfully stocked kitchen.

Beautiful home and rejuvenating get-away with family and friends. Close to Mendo, Casper & Ft Bragg parks, botanical gardens, beaches, arts and shops. Large kitchen, living room and parking area. Great vistas and ocean views. 💙

Wonderful views and close to Mendociino

We stayed 7/15/23 for a week, and it was very nice. The rental was clean and well appointed, in fact we were so surprised at the things available to us in the kitchen. Most rentals have a few bare necessities to get you started, this kitchen was filled with pots pans dished that we lacked for nothing. I usually bring my "essentials," however they provided so many things, they had spices I'd not heard of, and didn't have the chance to try out. The bedrooms were very nice, I did miss my pillow from home (that I usually bring)... but it was fine. Here you're about 7-8 miles south of Mendocino (maybe 10-15 minutes) and that is 10 minutes south of Fort Bragg, so you get the idea of time/space. We hit beaches and cliff walks with the dogs, shopping and eating in Mendocino. We did mostly casual dining, but you have to try pizza and smash burgers at The Brickery (burgers only on Wed-Thurs). We didn't get the chance to try the restaurant next door to the rental, but hear it is very good. We had excellent communications from the owner/manager. We were 5, and there was a bedroom we didn't use. I think we may have found a "go-to" place in the area.

Albion Vacation home

What an amazing place and location. It accommodated our whole family and was very roomy. The home was stocked with practically everything you needed. It's in a great location to get to the town of Albion, you can also walk to the small store nearby, there is a restaurant right next door but is also a short drive to Little River and Mendocino. I definetely recommend this home :-)
