Appartment Menorca

Not for couples. Only twin single beds. Dreadfull. Rooms are cleaned promptly and neatly. For the rest - a good experience!

Basic but fine for families

These hotel rooms are arranged as a group of around 40 apartments. There is a small bar and a great pool on site. The setup is pretty basic but for families it is fine. You probably need a car as it is a little way from the closest bus station and maybe a 10 minute walk from the nearest restaurant. There is plenty free parking outside the hotel. It is a basic setup but equally this is not an expensive hotel, and is equivalent in standard to much in the Son Bou area. The rooms feature a kitchen which has sufficient kit if you don't fancy going out in the evening.

Traumhaft schön...

Die kleine Anlage Villas Mar Blau besteht aus 43 Wohneinheiten und befindet sich in der südlichen Mitte von Menorca in Sant Jaume. Wir haben die Anlage in der Nebensaison besucht und konnten dabei zweierlei Dinge feststellen: Ruhe und Entspannung. Die Lage des Hotels ist einfach bezaubernd. Von der Terrasse des durchaus sehr gut ausgestatteten Bungalows, nicht nur im Hinblick auf die Küche, kann man bei einem leckeren Abendessen die Sonne im Meer versinken sehen. Einzig negativ zu erwähnen ist eine hohe Anzahl an Stubenfliegen. Neben dem Speisen auf der Terrasse, kann man auch sehr gut in dem Urlaubsort Essen gehen. Supermärkte und ein Arzt befinden sich ebenfalls in der Nähe. Auch der Strand von Son Bou läd zum Baden und Relaxen ein. Wir würden jedoch einen Mietwagen empfehlen, damit die komplette Schönheit der Insel entdeckt werden kann. FAZIT: Eine überaus schöne Insel, welche jeden Erholungssuchenden positiv stimmen wird. Dazu noch einen Mietwagen und die Anlage Mar Blau gebucht und der Grundstein für einen ruhigen und erholsamen Urlaub ist gemacht. Von unserer Seite: Mar Blau... jederzeit wieder!
