Disappointing

It was disappointing as it was advertised with a kitchen, but didn’t have one. Not much room to prep, even for breakfast. It was in a handy spot but We wouldn’t stay here again.

Happy with everything

We booked a standard room for 2 nights. It had ALL the amenities we needed for bathroom and kitchen. It even had an electric blanket. We were happy with everything. If you are happy to stay in an older style motel (no problem for us), with a multi-purpose sink (bathroom and kitchen combined) it is good place to stay.

Not for us ! Wi-Fi in and out . more out than in . Heat pump stopped working very cold . Electric blanket wouldn’t work and that was after we paid to upgrade’ 1st room was dark / dirty cracked crockery …. Upgrade room right by main highway trucks non stop all night shaking the room each time ! 😔

Stayed overnight in a standard queen. Not quite like in the photos - more drabby and with basic furnishings. Adequate for a night but not longer. Motel condition in rooms is dated but the bed was comfortable and it was quiet. The restaurant for dinner on site was excellent. Disappointing the website and compendium says breakfast to rooms but this is no longer available!

Definitely a budget motel. OK if you just want a bed for one night. Very limited facilities. Tiny bathroom just big enough for a toilet and shower. Meets a need though as long as you know what to expect. And cheap. So fair enough!

Staff was most helpful helping us (oldies) to set up wifi.Nothing was too much trouble, cleaners did an excellent job on room service cleaning. Only downside (which we knew about before we booked in) was that was no evening meal at Ashleys Restaurant. Would certainly stay again

Very noisy location, room not sound proof on major highway. Air conditioning was not working correctly on a 38 deg day. Room was clean and tidy. Staff friendly.

The pool was dirty and there was a cockroach in the room. They also state on their website that breakfast is able to be purchased, but you can’t.

Restaurant was closed. Shower needs a total revamp - it was hard to get a decent flow out of it and the small step separating from the rest of the wet area poses a risk. Other than one of the bedside lamps not working, the room was excellent The cutlery, toaster, chilled water in a container in the fridge, were all excellent additions that you don't always find in a motel like this.

The door to the toilet stuck making it difficult to turn the handle.the cold water tap was loose. The switch to the power point for the TV was too high, had to get the attendant to come and switch it on. Also no breakfast of dining available Bed was comfortable. Shower was good.

Property was old school bespoke interior cabinetry - just looks really nice - indirect fluoro lighting only. Beds comfy, aircon modern, wifi very good. Approved classic Australian Motel.
