Secluded Stream Side Bungalow

Only 90 minutes from Christchurch you will find this secluded property nestled between the old school and architecturally renowned St Andrews Church. The property is situated four kilometers from the beach, this stream side bungalow provides a relaxing break away.

You are twenty minutes from Akaroa which has a number of amenities. You are a short distance from a number of walks if you want to explore the Peninsular or simply relax and enjoy the native Kereru and Fantail that inhabit the surrounding trees.

For the children there is a stream at the back of the property which will keep them entertained for hours. The property is fenced although for those intent on escaping it is not fully secure.

The property is minutes from the beach and domain that contains tennis court, kids play ground, flying fox, basketball hoop and rope swing. The beach is safe for kids and there is a river at the southern end of the beach which is a perfect place to play and explore. Seals can often be seen playing around the rocks and Dolphins are often spotted in the bay.

The house has been renovated and has been tastefully decorated. This is an ideal destination for families and couples looking for a relaxing get away.

NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave; Bring your own towels and sheets, tee towels etc

I like this house and will book it again. It's sunny and comfortable. The garden and deck are also very nice. It has everything you need. (BYO own teapot and plunger/stove top espresso if Nespresso/teabags aren't your thing.)

Peaceful location, just what we wanted. Great place to get away from it all. Water pressure and temperature are not the best and the water pump is very noisy - these are just nit picking critiques of what is otherwise a great bach. Would certainly go back there.

Lovely spot
