Warm & cosy winter hide out

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Akaroa Waterfront Motels. Due to the time of year we were planning on the weather potentially being cold and wet - the extra $30+ dollars for the Water View room was well worth it. The rooms are about 4-5 meters from the sea. The spa and massage service was also worthwhile. Although the complex is old the rooms have been freshened up recently and they look good. The standard of cleanliness and overall presentation of the rooms was excellent. We would gladly stay here again.

It was very convenient to all restaurants and activities. Plenty of space in the rooms. Staff accommodated for our ebikes by placing them in their shed. Waterfront site.

Lovely to have the waterfront view from our apartment. Would advise to always ask for the waterfront section so as to not be disappointed. Some of the apartments do not have waterfront views. Convenient to dining and shopping options as well. Will be back in the future to spend more time here as only had the one night. Not long enough.

Brilliant motel right on the foreshore. Easy walking distance from town with multiple restaurant choices. I loved Akaroa and this is a good choice if you want to stay in the area . Highly recommend
