Wonderful, but a couple of issues

This beautiful, well-equipped apartment is in a superb location, both for professional duties in Aix and just plain tourism. It was larger than we needed, but the tranquility and silence made it worthwhile. Two caveats: there are two rather steep and hazardous internal stairways without handrails, which were not revealed in advance -- one of which would have made it impossible to get our luggage in and out without the kind assistance of the landlords. Also, the instructions for wi-fi and other matters could have been clearer. Overall, a memorable and very pleasant stay.

Perfect place in Aix !!

The apartment looked really good in the photos on the website but was even better in reality.It was very spacious and the terrae was a delight.Everything you would need was available. The location could not have been better.It is only yards from the main squares and a short beautiful walk through narrow streets to the Cours Mirabeau .The different markets are wonderful especially the big market 3 times a week on the Cours Mirabeau. Aix is a beautiful town with lots going on and much to see .It is an ideal centre .We took a day trip to Cassis to see the Calanques. My review of the apartment in one word is ,exceptional.

Charming Apartment

We loved staying at Couroune Urbaine! The location is super, a short walk from the Place des Cardeurs and other great squares for fun and delicious dining and ambiance, yet in a very quiet enclave. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and the terrace was used every night of our two-week stay. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. There are a few stairs getting in and out of the unit which adds to the character. Fabienne and Jean-Daniel are fantastic hosts, and even helped us out with parking and other suggestions and provided some support. The only drawback that I could mention is that the second bedroom does get hot in the summer, so be aware. Nonetheless, I give this a 5 out of 5 rating! Thank-you for the lovely stay, we would recommend it!

Lovely Appartment In The Centre Of Town.

A charming and comfortable appartment right on the edge of the old centre of Aix. Clean and comfortable with good amenities (kitchen, bathrooms, A/C, TV) that all worked well. Car parking is very expensive and difficult in the area and a car is a liability when exploring the town. Fortunately we were directed to a much more accessible and less expensive car park on the outskirts of town with a free and convenient shuttle bus. That worked well for us. We would definitely go back if the opportunity arises.

Great Apartment

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming and comfortable apartment. It is in a great location, easy to get to anything we wanted to do. Lovely décor, and the terrace was an extra special feature, allowing us to be outside for meals.

Appartement plein de charme, sous les toits mais très bien climatisé ; très lumineux, à la décoration raffinée, au calme et à proximité de toutes les commodités. Très bien équipé. Les hôtes sont charmants et très accueillants. Les gros plus : la jolie terrasse, et surtout 2 espaces nuit (chambre + salle d’eau + sanitaires) distincts de part et d’autre de la grande pièce à vivre.
