Hope's Cottage at Red Top Estate, is a quaint 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home located in the heart of Aiken's Historic District. Built originally for Mrs. C. Oliver Iselin (Hope) while she constructed her home on what is now Hopelands Gardens, this house is the original house on the Red Top Estate. Hopelands Gardens, with the Aiken Thoroughbred Racing Hall of Fame & Museum, is located across the street. Downtown Aiken, minutes away, offers shopping and culinary experiences galore. The Green Boundary Club is a 5-minute walk and the famous Palmetto Golf Club, which is open to visitors during Masters week, is a 2-minute drive or 5-minute walk. Situated among horse pastures, Hope's Cottage on Red Top Estate offers both privacy and convenience. The outdoor patio is suitable for entertainment or relaxing after a memorable day.

Loved the location of this charming red roof house! We enjoyed several walks through the Hopelands Gardens after reading its history in the book provided by owners. The owners thought of every home amenity from tissues in every room, chilled water in the refrigerator, snacks and toiletries often forgotten when traveling. We would definitely return.

Wonderful stay. Beautiful cottage where everything was taken care off. Owner was very responsive and checked in with us. We had to leave early in morning and get in later for a horse show and they were so understanding. We want to go back and stay for longer. Great location for all the barn!

The house was exceptionally well stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay, and it was spotless throughout. The holiday decorations were thoughtful and tasteful, making our time there feel extra special.We chose this location as a halfway meeting point for our family, with everyone driving all day to get there and it was the perfect setting to exchange Christmas gifts and enjoy time together. We also loved exploring the beautiful downtown in Aiken, which is just a short distance away.The little touches truly set this property apart — chocolates left on the bed, embossed toilet paper, plenty of spare keys, and a detailed visitor’s book with clear house instructions and great local restaurant recommendations. Everything was clean, comfortable, and clearly well cared for.You can tell that the hosts take great pride in their home and genuinely want their guests to feel welcome. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Aiken.

This place was amazing. We were there for Christmas time and we walked into house and it was beautifully decorated. Which was so nice. The supplies were plenty...beds were great and cozy. Had our dog with us and there were bowl and treats for him. I Definitely would go back. Great location. I highly recommend you try this place. It should be the standard,!!

Everything we could possibly need from kitchen items to personal items was provided. The beds and the pillows are so comfortable. It was the perfect place for our ladies get-together. The cottage is so clean and quiet (except for us guests!) Highly recommend this quaint little piece of history from Old Aiken.
