We stayed here for a total of four nights. Unfortunately, the room was not what we had booked — we had requested twin bedding and had even emailed and called beforehand to confirm. When we arrived, the front desk acknowledged they had received the request, but the room did not reflect this. Management resolved the issue quickly, which we appreciated.
However, the following night, although we were given the twin bedding as promised, the beds were extremely soft and uncomfortable. The next night we asked to have the beds converted back to a king, as the mattresses were far too soft, but were told housekeeping had already finished for the day and the request couldn’t be done.
There was also no compensation or additional perks offered despite all surrounding roads being closed off, making car access inconvenient and the overall environment quite dull. The area was full of construction, noise, and lacked the relaxing seaside atmosphere we had expected.
To make matters worse, the room had a noticeable sewage smell, which may have been related to the construction works outside or poor bathroom ventilation.
Overall, this stay fell far short of what we were expecting from a seaside hotel experience
