If walking or cycling is your thing, then Mountain View is the perfect gateway to the mountains, including the nearby Skirrid, The Sugar Loaf Mountain and the Blorange. There is even a vineyard at the base offering tasting sessions. The famous ‘The Tumble’ cycle hill climb, and the hills, Ysgyryd Fach, Deri, Rholben, Ysgyryd Fawr and Mynyd Llanwenarth can also be found nearby. With easy access to the Brecon Beacons National Park and Black Mountains. Abergavenny is only 4½ miles away, home of the famous Food Festival. Absolutely gorgeous place to relax.
Just 15 minutes from Abergavenny for supplies. Incredible surroundings. Some great walks and drives. Accommodation was lovely and clean, with just enough to do to keep busy, and perfect for a relaxing break. Our host was really lovely. Our little dog Flo loved her surroundings too.
