Never been that good with decision? No need to worry. The Blue Cliffs Retreat is really the only choice if you are set on staying within easy reach of all the action.
You may also like to try the Peppers Mineral Springs Hotel, which is 13 kilometres away. Or maybe the Hotel Frangos, just a distance of 16 kilometres from Yandoit. If those ones aren't your cup of tea, you may prefer the Hepburn at Hepburn or The Sebel Creswick Forest Resort.
If you've been gifted with the wanderlust gene (well duh, you're here right?), then we're pretty sure you'll want to check out the wider Victoria region. Nature buffs should visit some of Yandoit's incredible rivers. A few other must-see sights are history museums, art galleries and open-air museums. Still want more? Common activities in this corner of Australia include snowboarding and skiing, so don't be scared to have a crack!
Need more options? Live it up like a rockstar in Elevated Plains (just try not to wreck the joint). Located 10 kilometres away and home to Daylesford Sunday Market and Mt Franklin, it's sure to be an unforgettable trip! If you'd like to stay in Elevated Plains, look into The Dudley Boutique Hotel and 65 Main Daylesford - Hepburn Springs. 13 kilometres to the south of Yandoit you'll find Hepburn Springs, home to the Daylesford Central Motor Inn and Hepburn Springs Chalet. If you stay in Hepburn Springs, be sure to check out the Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens and the Convent Gallery.
Travel 45 kilometres southwest and you'll find Ballarat, a regional centre with a population of 98,000. While you're checking out this neck of the woods, you'll be able to whip out your camera and get your tourist on at the Ballarat Wildlife Park, the Eureka Hall and Eureka Aquatic Center. The Museum of Australian Democracy at Eureka and Lake Esmond Botanical Garden are a couple more attractions which are sure to offer up some envy-inducing photo ops. The Craig's Royal Hotel and Lake Wendouree Luxury Apartments on Webster are just a couple of recommended hotel options in Ballarat.
After sleeping upright for hours, a nice comfy bed at the PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport will be bliss! If it's chockers there, try the Holiday Inn Melbourne Airport. Both are just a short drive from Tullamarine Airport, which is 85 kilometres from the centre of town.
