Book Slanghoek hotels

A true gem. This is my new go-to place for the first (and second) night in Cape Town. Most international flights arrive in the early morning and commercial downtown hotels do not let you check in before 3 pm. Most of us are exhausted. So make your way to Franschhoek against traffic and stop at some wineries on the way. Then rest at La Fontaine. Many fine restaurants within 0.5 miles. Lovely breakfast and exceptional service.

weekend away at the hotel was amazing from the time of check in to departure the staff couldnt do more for me, they really made me feel very welcome. even the cleaning staff were very friendly. the staff were all very pleasant and seemed to enjoy their job.

The owners & staff were lovely & very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast were good especially as weather meant could have them on the veranda. Loved every minute of our stay. Very convenient for wine tram kiosk as only about 5 min walk away. Will definitely be returning.

We fell in love with Leeu House. The staff were so friendly and so helpful - preempting our needs before we even asked. Going above and beyond to help us with reservations (including a last minute request to help us find somewhere to watch the sunset!). The grounds are absolutely beautiful, as are the rooms. Feels like a little sanctuary but still walking distance from all the best restaurants, galleries and the wine tram. Highly highly recommend. Only thing is we wish the pool was heated!

Great stay in a very pretty guest house. Super close to town, especially tuk tuk microbrewery which I’d recommend.
