Great stay !

Check in was a breeze. Everyone was nice and friendly. We checked in around 530, unloaded all of our belongings including our groceries. After cooking dinner we left our room to swim. Arrived back to our room shortly after 10 PM to find that the AC was not working and the refrigerator/freezer had gone out. I called the front office and they quickly had maintenance up to the room. Found that the AC line was clogged and the fridge was completely out. There was no way to fix it that late at night. Douglas, Dave and Richard (night crew) very kindly helped us gather up all of our belongings, and our groceries out of the fridge/freezer and helped us get settled into another room. Although that was an inconvenience, we appreciated their rapid responses and help. We were given a $50 credit for our troubles. The space was clean and quiet. The pool areas were nice. My only regret was not reserving a bigger space and staying longer. Hotels.com listed the room that we booked as enough room for 6 people. Upon arriving we were put in a one bedroom with a king bed and one pullout sofa couch in the living room which made the sleeping arrangement a bit awkward considering we have a teenage daughter and son. I called ahead and asked what the standard room offered after seeing online it was fit for 6 ppl, and the person I spoke to on the phone misinformed me saying it would come with 2 queens and a pullout sofa sleeper. That was our main let down aside from having to shuffle around.

I have wanted to visit this resort for a few years I finally decided to just book the trip. I am so glad I did. I had a wonderful weekend. The waterpark is especially my favorite. The room was cozy and clean. The service was wonderful, Ricky, the waiter at Cibolo Recommended that we go visit the farmers market at the Pearl and he was on point. The area is away from the city yet close enough to get to if needed. We got to see a Doe and her baby. There is lots of wildlife in the area, which is really nice as well as walking trails. I highly recommend this resort!

Employees were very helpful and when something was wrong with our room, not their fault, but they Accommodated our needs. Very helpful.

Need to upgrade breakfast no waffles ;(
