Book Santa Cruz Island hotels

Our large group found the hotel quite comfortable. Only a few minutes ride away from central downtown so area is more quiet. Easy to get taxi.

I arrived early before my room was available and management graciously allowed me to leave my luggage inside the hotel while I went for lunch and a walk; they also allowed me to rest on a coach in the third floor social room/kitchen which had a nice breeze coming in from the ocean. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Our stay at Hotel Fiesta was exceptional! The staff, breakfast, pool, laundry service, housekeeping was wonderful! We are so grateful for the opportunity to stay at this hotel and to all the staff who made out stay one to remember!

This property is just a few blocks from the Charles Darwin Research property and to food/shopping on the main drag. Some staff spoke enough English to be able to communicate. Others not so much. Google translate worked well! My husband arrived here with a bad case of traveler's sickness. The gentleman was so kind to help us. He even had some meds we could get, allowed us to check out a little late, due to severity of his illness. They have filtered water available for drinking. Their morning breakfast (included with reservation) was nice for me (husband could not eat yet): fresh fruit, rolls, jam & margarine, eggs to order, ham, cheese, fresh juice/coffee/tea. They also had pourable yogurt & granola. Enough to get filled up on! Our kind clerk also called a cab for us when it was time to go. There is a little pool available for use in the courtyard. There is no elevator, so if you have trouble with stairs, ask for a ground floor room. Bed was comfortable. Facility is clean and well maintained. Felt safe there.

All of the staff at the Royal Palm are amazing; they helped us to organize an excursion to North Seymour Island that we probably would not have considered, but ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. The weather in the hills during our stay was overcast, but was beautiful when we ventured to the pier. Maybe because of the time of year/weather, the pool and hottubs were really not usable (not clean or hot). The on-site cafe was fantastic. It was fun to see the tortoises that freely roam the property. My sister loved her relaxing massage (she is very picky, so this says a lot). One of the highlights of our stay was a 5-course dinner in the lava tunnel ~ DO NOT MISS IT.
