Nice and quirky hotel

Handy location for my purposes with comfortable rooms.

This hotel is fabulous. The staff are amazing - they are proactive in helping you. We were lucky enough to have an upgrade to a mini suite and the room was fantastic- very spacious, jacuzzi bath and the most comfortable bed I have ever had in a hotel. We didn’t eat here as there are lots of restaurants around the area to choose from but we enjoyed drinks every day on the lovely rooftop terrace. There is a lot of renovation work doing on at the hotel and around the area but it didn’t affect the quality of our stay at all. Overall I would say it’s probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in.

Our stay at Comfort Suites was delightful. On the initial day, we encountered an issue with the air conditioning in our room, which made the temperature uncomfortably high. However, upon notifying the staff, they promptly relocated us to another room that not only had a functional AC but also boasted a balcony. We were treated with utmost courtesy by Manager Reshma Prayag, and the front desk staff, Puma and Simon. Additionally, we took advantage of the hop-on hop-off bus tour, conveniently accessible from a nearby bus stop. The children had a wonderful time. We received helpful advice from the front desk regarding car parking; they recommended using a garage on a parallel street instead of street parking for safety reasons, which was also within walking distance. We’re grateful for the hospitality. Our experience at Comfort Suites downtown was indeed pleasant. Thank you.
