The Tryp hotel is excellent. The entrance is down a quiet side street off the main drag. We were upgraded to an apartment where everything seemed brand new and good quality. No budget stuff here with Miele appliances etc. Fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, full kitchen etc. Beds were smaller but comfortable and the rooms were sound proofed so it was beautifully quiet. Good views out across the harbour and city from the balcony and shower power was more than adequate with both rainfall head and powerful hand held. We didnt bother with breakfast given the number of great cafe's around but, happy hour is worth it with a small selection of wines, beers and ciders near reception. The staff were also excellent. All in all, we'd happily stay here again and it's a better hotel than some of the more supposed upmarket establishments in town.
