Scott and Sharon's Old Hut was quirky and charming. They have put in of thought and attention to detail and the result is a fun, unique and comfy place to stay. It is handy to lots of interesting places, both free and touristy. Scott and Sharon were friendly and had lots of great suggestions about where to go and what to see. Highly recommended!

Great little cottage was nicley warmed up before arrival. We always had fast replies from the host and it qas everything we needed. I stayed with my son and daughter who both thought it was perfect for what we needed.

Loved this property it was really lovely and the wood fire which had warmed the house throughout was so welcoming. We had a variety of school age students n having them all under one roof was great. The kitchen was a good size for 20 odd people and bedrooms were a good size and well ventilated. I suggest you get a few more living room chairs in the lounge space so more people can sit comfortably in the living room without having to sit at table. Beautiful, peaceful setting with a lovely sunset. Thank you whanau the hosts were cheerful, kind and helpful. We loved this property and definitely recommend this place to large groups visiting anywhere near Whakatane, Mahina Dam, Murupara.
