Hotels in Grey Eagle are pretty hard to find. However, you can take your pick of 6 comfy digs within 30 kilometres of Grey Eagle's centre. Just think of the drive as a little extra sightseeing!
It won't take long to get to the heart of Grey Eagle from AmericInn Lodge & Suites Sauk Centre and Baymont Inn & Suites Albany (although with beds as comfy as these, you shouldn't be surprised if you end up running a little behind schedule!)
An additional option is the Super 8 Melrose, which is a great option if you're fine with travelling 18 kilometres to the main streets.
Sure, you could spend your entire time just in Grey Eagle, but you'd really be missing out. For some truly epic adventures, you've gotta take a look around Minnesota's other attractions. Historic mansions are a few sights that should be on your gotta-see list. If amazing scenery is more your thang, make a date with Mother Nature and check out the region's forests and lakes. Also, take the opportunity to have a go at a few popular regional pursuits like snowboarding.
Caviar or corn dogs? However you like to roll, you'll sure to love a trip to Sauk Centre, 19 kilometres away. With the Viking Altar Rock and Sauk Lake to explore, you're not gonna be bored. If you're keen to stay in Sauk Centre, consider the Americas Best Value Inn and Gopher Prairie Inn. 35 kilometres to the northeast of Grey Eagle you'll also find Little Falls, which is home to the Super 8 Little Falls MN and Waller House Inn. The Minnesota Fishing Museum and the Pine Grove Zoo are among the more popular points of interest to see while in Little Falls.
You'll find some awesome activities in Alexandria. The Kensington Runestone, the Douglas County Historical Society and Casey’s Amusement Park are our top picks. This regional hub can be found 50 kilometres west of Grey Eagle and has a population of 11,000. Why not also stop by the Big Ole Viking Statue and the Runestone Museum? There are a number of great hotels available to book in Alexandria. Check out the facilities at the Holiday Inn Alexandria and Hampton Inn & Suites Alexandria.
Totally over aeroplane food? Longing for a little privacy? Then you'd be nuts not to see if you can score a room at the Cruise Inn RV Park and Lodging or the Skyline Motel. Neither are too far from Chandler Field Airport, 50 kilometres from Grey Eagle's centre.
