Flights To Hawaii

Where else can you sunbathe, snorkel and get lei’d all in one place? Okay, there are probably a few tropical islands where you can do just that, but this is Hawaii. The grandfather of getaways. The bandmaster of beaches. Tell your boss you’re cashing in your annual leave and tell your flatmate you’ll bring them back something nice—you have an island to throw yourself at. Book one of lastminute.com.au’s cheap flights to Hawaii and have plenty of cash left over for cute bathers.

Getting Around Hawaii

Newsflash: There are a lot of Hawaiian islands for you to explore. But if you’re flying into the Big Island, aka Hawaii itself, you’ll probably land at Hilo International Airport (ITO) or Kona International Airport (KOA). From there, it’s easy to get around the via car hire (from lastminute.com.au, naturally!). Want to see the other islands? Puddle-jumpers and good old-fashioned boats are your best bet.

When You Land…

If you’re on one of the flights to Hawaii that lands during the morning, don’t waste another second thinking about work. Slap on a lei and a grass skirt and take a hula lesson on the beach; it’s a proven fact that the more your hips shimmy, the better your holiday will be.

Afternoon arrivals don’t preclude you from beach time! Go snorkelling in the sparkling waters surrounding the Big Island, or take a boat tour. Bring a fishing rod and see if you can score some dinner.

If you land at night, you’re in the right place. Drink your weight in beer at the Kona Brewing Factory in Kailua-Kona, followed up by a delicious meal. You’re welcome.

Live Like a Local

lastminute.com.au’s Hawaii packages are easy on the wallet, so take some of those dollarydoos and spend them at the Waimea Midweek Farmers Market. Sure, you could eat your way through the vendors before lunch is over, but you can also get some delicious jams and other fabulous foodie finds to bring home as souvenirs.

lastminute.com.au’s cheap flights to Hawaii aren’t going to last forever. Stop daydreaming about your getaway and start planning it—our hotels in Hawaii are waiting!
