From wineries to day spas, check out our selection of accommodation in Hepburn Springs for a relaxing stay in this beautiful Victorian region.
Things to see and do
One of the most popular activities in Hepburn Springs is to take to the waters. There are spa and wellness centres where you can bathe in the mineral rich waters, have a massage, and enjoy a range of other health and beauty treatments and techniques. As you wander around the beautiful region, you’ll notice the stunning Edwardian buildings and heritage sites. These include Hepburn Pool, Hepburn Mineral Springs Reserve and the former Macaroni Factory. Interestingly, Italian settlers were making pasta in Hepburn Springs back in the mid 1800s! There are also lots of small galleries and shops to grab your attention.
Head out into the surrounding areas to enjoy the natural beauty all around. The Hepburn Regional Park has heaps of walking trails where you can check out reminders from the days of gold mining and mineral rich springs. The town is flanked by two former volcanoes: Wombat Hill and Mt Franklin. Head to Jacksons Lookout for incredibly scenic views of the surrounding countryside, and relax in some of the lovely gardens. You’ll find picnicking and barbecuing spots, and you should definitely try the local specialty of bullboar, a type of spicy sausage. Bars, pubs, and a live music venue create a diverse night scene to ensure you won’t be bored.
