Time for Aussies to switch off and take a ‘digital detox’

New travel & lifestyle data by lastminute.com.au shows that while 64% of us say we go on holidays to relax, the reality is almost a third (31%) of Aussies check their work emails while on holidays, 13% do work on their laptop and 12% even take work calls while on annual leave.

Aussies also have attachment issues with their mobile phones, with 89% per cent of Aussies travelling with their mobile phone switched on. Of these people, 28% admitted to feeling anxious if they travel without it, however less than half (41%) say they feel relaxed without their phone on holidays.
