It felt like a cruel joke walking through the Louvre \u2013 the epicentre of arts and culture in the Western world, the home of more than 35,000 displayed works \u2013 and seeing blurred shapes and black dots obstruct my view.<\/p>\n

Yes, technically, I saw Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres\u2019 enigmatic Grande Odalisque<\/em>, Eug\u00e8ne Delacroix\u2019s iconic Liberty Leading the People<\/em> and the ever-mysterious Mona Lisa<\/em> by Leonardo da Vinci, but let\u2019s just say they all looked a little different to what they\u2019re supposed to.<\/p>\n

The Art History student in me can't wait to return to The Louvre. Here's hoping it doesn't take another 13 years to get there! \ud83d\ude35 P.S. In a past life, I studied Art History and Philosophy before deciding to pursue Journalism instead. But I still can't get enough of the Art World \ud83d\udc93<\/a><\/p>\n
