You know what always reminds me of being on holiday? Cocktails. Sweet, delicious, life-giving cocktails.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The first tip offered in my return to work survival guide<\/a> is to drink some mocktails at your desk to keep your holiday vibe alive, so it should come as no surprise that when I\u2019m on holiday I have a cocktail in my hand. And the thirst is real.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sydney<\/h3>\n

Sydney has so many beautiful ingredients all muddled together in one city \u2013 like the Harbour Bridge, the Opera House, Taronga Zoo<\/a>, Bondi, and Kings Cross \u2013 with a twist of multiculturalism. If Sydney were a cocktail, it would be a Mojito; fresh, fun, served over crushed ice, and perfect for Sydney\u2019s alfresco lifestyle. If you\u2019re in Sydney<\/a>, head to the Pocket Bar<\/a>. They make one of the best Mojitos in town.<\/p>\n

Bali<\/h3>\n

Bali<\/a> has two sides: the ‘Eat Pray Love’ Bali and the party animal Bali. Personally, I\u2019m an animal lover. This Indonesian Island is one of Australia\u2019s favourite holiday destinations, and what\u2019s not to love? There\u2019s sun, surf, and Sex on the Beach. This delicious fruity cocktail stirs together all the tropical flavours that represent Bali.

New York<\/a> has so many diverse neighbourhoods<\/a>, but there\u2019s one cocktail so typically New York, I can\u2019t even. The Cosmopolitan was made popular in the late ’90s and is still being drunk by the millions today. Much like the city that made it famous, it\u2019s sophisticated, smooth, and served straight up. Want to be there right NOW? Fly first-class to New York<\/a> like the girls from Sex and the City.<\/p>\n

London<\/a> is the most visited city in the world and one of my personal favourites. It\u2019s a fast-paced modern city shaken up nicely with tradition, historical sights, and royal parks. This place has me reaching for a Martini. The 007 vibe and botanical flavour of gin scream London to me, but be careful, it\u2019s not for the faint of heart. So, where does one find a classic Martini? We think The Artesian at The Langham, London<\/a>, voted the World\u2019s Best Bar three years in a row, is a good place to start.<\/p>\n

Los Angeles<\/a> is the home of the rich and famous. Sometimes the old hair of the dog is the only thing that will get you through. Enter stage right: Bloody Mary. Try the signature Cajun Bloody Mary at The Ivy<\/a> \u2013 you\u2019ll get to sip some hooch and maybe spot some celebrities at the same time.<\/p>\n
