I love discovering new bars and restaurants, it\u2019s one of the best parts of living in Sydney<\/a>. With that said though, I don\u2019t really make the most of my lunchtime, usually grabbing a quick sandwich and eating at my desk \u2013 very uninspiring!<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\nSo, just to change things up today, I decide to head outside and do lunch differently.\"Captain<\/a><\/p>\n\"Departing<\/a>\n

Now I don\u2019t do anything by halves so I book myself on a Captain Cook Top Deck lunch cruise<\/a>. With the cruise going for 110 minutes I’m being a bit naughty sneaking out of work for so long but hey, it\u2019s Friday and we all deserve to treat ourselves now and then. \ud83d\ude42

With the boat departing from either Circular Quay<\/a> or Darling Harbour<\/a>, it\u2019s an easy walk from the city and boarding takes no time at all. After taking a quick look around the boat, I head upstairs to my table. My first thought is WOW! The top deck really is a floating restaurant with huge glass windows that give amazing views of the harbour. After taking my seat by the window, a waiter takes my drink order and I\u2019m given a menu from which I can select either an entree and main, or a main and dessert. I\u2019ve got a sweet tooth so it\u2019s an easy decision!<\/p>\n

I order the beef tenderloin which comes out cooked to perfection, although I do have a bit of food envy over the grilled Atlantic salmon which also looks awesome (this is where Mr LML would come in handy so I could go halfsies with the meals.) The main course is followed by a vanilla and chocolate mousse for dessert. YUM!<\/p>\n\"I<\/a>\n\"Vanilla<\/a>\n

Feeling content, it\u2019s nice to sit back with an espresso (or wine if you\u2019re up for it) and watch the Harbour pass by. As I take in the sights, I find myself remembering why I live in Sydney, it’s such a beautiful place!

This harbour lunch cruise is perfect for both locals, tourists and people celebrating special occasions. Even those like me, who need to get out of the office to avoid lunch at the desk!<\/p>\n
