Las Vegas is not how I remember it.<\/em> Which is lucky, considering the last time I visited was in 1999, dressed top-to-toe in Tweety Bird, and well under the US legal drinking age. Recalling nothing more than the number of electric shocks I suffered (thanks to the dry desert air), and the excitement of visiting a \u2019real castle with dragons\u2019<\/em><\/a>, I\u2019m ready to give it a second shot\u2026 but this time I\u2019m leaving my Tweety get-up at home.<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

So what\u2019s left to do when you have a group of 17 friends, all 20-something, spending a whirlwind three nights in Sin City?…Create your own hangover-esque adventure of course!<\/p>\n\"<\/a>\n

Our holiday on the strip is off to a great start. Mr LML and I check into our very lush Junior Suite at Luxury Suites at The Signature at MGM<\/a>, and I feel like I\u2019ve already hit the jackpot. With a mammoth king sized bed, separate sitting area, kitchenette with state of the art appliances, LCD TV, and marble covered bathroom with an extra <\/em>LCD TV (for your bath-time viewing pleasure), I\u2019m feeling overly tipsy with excitement \u2013 and I haven\u2019t even downed a cocktail.<\/p>\n\"<\/a>\n\"<\/a>\n

The fancy-pants sister of the famous MGM Grand, the Luxury Suites at the Signature is a sight for sore eyes. The accommodation is spread across three sparkling (and still dangerously electric-shocky) towers, and sits on the same grounds as the MGM. Sure we could step outside but given the Luxury Suites are connected to the MGM Grand by an internal moving walkway, I struggle to think up a reason why we should leave the grounds on our first night. The result\u2026 we don\u2019t!<\/p>\n

Night one with the stars<\/strong><\/p>\n

Taking a full seven minutes of indoor walking to get from our room to the MGM Grand Casino (this place is HUGE) we bypass the sporting section and take a seat at the nearest roulette table. After a few spins of the ball, we realise the mysterious man were sitting next to wearing a big coat and hat is none other than Brad Garratt (the hilarious brother off Everybody Loves Raymond<\/em>). I kick myself hard for not getting a pic, but I am too star-struck to pull out my phone. He\u2019s currently performing live<\/a> stand-up at the hotel\u2019s comedy club.<\/p>\n

Day two with the crew<\/strong><\/p>\n

Waking up feeling slightly sorry for myself, we pull ourselves back into gear and set about exploring Vegas.<\/p>\n\"<\/a>\n

By day, we catch up with our group of friends and explore the ins and outs of this vibrant city. For a real American lunch, we pull out the clich\u00e9 card and hit up the Hard Rock Caf\u00e9<\/a> \u2013 when in Vegas.<\/p>\n

By night, we\u2019re ready for our second big adventure: to take on the Strip in full force.<\/p>\n

Travelling in style with a large group of friends lends itself to one outcome, to hire an over the top stretch limo: Destination – Surrender<\/a>.<\/p>\n\"<\/a>\n

Covering it all, from party pools and VIP booths, to bathrooms with maids and a perfume selection, this nightclub blows my expectations for the ultimate night out in Vegas. And if you\u2019re a lady, don\u2019t expect the fun to stop there because Vegas loves <\/em>chicks! Think free drinks galore to VIP entry and seating; it\u2019s an easy decision to leave Mr LML with the boys while I soak up the luxury with the ladies.<\/p>\n\"<\/a>\n

It\u2019s a hard one to beat, but on such a short trip into Sin City, I\u2019m happy we call this little beaut our destination for fun. Stumbling back to MGM headquarters, we can\u2019t help but grab some group happy snaps before calling it a night \u2013 and boy what a night it was.<\/p>\n

Whoever said New York was the city that never sleeps really needs to get their butt to Vegas, because not once in my life have I been somewhere so wild, so vibrant, and so full of late-night adventure. If you\u2019re planning a jam-packed Sin City adventure, listen to me when I say that it\u2019s worth every penny booking somewhere comfortable. No matter how hard you party, you will always, always be thankful for heavy draw back curtains, a king sized bed and air-conditioned comfort to recharge the batteries.<\/p>\n
