The LUXE list

Hold the phone. Here are all the luxury hotels I’ve been drooling over lately and the lust worthy reasons why.

Apologies in advance – you’ll be suffering serious wanderlust after this.

Le Sirenuse, Positano, Italy

Previously a family home located in the heart of Italy, 50km form Naples. This lush hotel over looks pristine, crystal blue water and iconic Italian homeland scenery. When I look at pictures of Le Sirenuse I get caught up in romance, indulgence and down to earth luxury.

I’m drawn to the details that make my imagination go wild, from the custom designed tiles, the vibrant colours found on the walls of buildings and in artwork and the lush green vines that drape over the outside of the building. To me, this place captures the soul of Italian culture and history.

Jonahs Restaurant & Accommodation, Whale Beach – Palm Beach, NSW

A Little closer to home, this 5-star hotel houses 11 luxury rooms, all with private balconies and views that are simply #todiefor.

Jonah’s is famous for its weddings by the seaside, indulgent and delicious food and simply romance, romance, romance.

Belmond Casa de Sierra Nevada, Mexico

This is history in the centre of the city, pure luxury found in a place I’ve always wanted to visit, Mexico.

I picture myself poolside, soaking up the sun with a margarita in hand.

For me, I’m a sucker for luxury vibes without the pretentious atmosphere, Belmond Casa creates furnishing and gardens that I would be inspired to achieve at home.

Katikies The Hotel, Santorini, Cyclades Islands, Greece

I can’t even deal with this place. Seriously shakin’ in my boots with excitement.

Katikies has taken the approach that less is more, and I love it, simplicity creating luxury. Pure white walls, clear blue pools and linen that will make your dreams seem real.

Greece has always been on my wish list, and Katikies has just made it rank a little higher.

Hotel 1898, Barcelona

Last, but not least, a little love to Barcelona.

If you’re intrigued by history, then this is the place for you. A restored 19-century building features a luxury spa, rooftop terrace and an indoor pool that begs you to jump in.

Located in the hub of the city, I’m drawn to the decadence, location and culture Hotel 1898 reps in droves.

Another one to add to the wish list.
