If you answered no, sadly you’re not alone. Our latest research reveals nearly one in three Aussies have never surprised their other half with a getaway despite 75% of peeps admitting they lurve the idea.

Need more incentive? 92% of Australians believing travel can spark romance in a relationship. They don’t call it the ‘holiday glow’ for nothing, you know 😉

So, where to swish off to?

We’ve taken inspiration from loved-up celebrities. If it’s good enough for them, it’s good enough for you.

Blue Mountains:

This hot destination is a fave of Lara Bingle and Sam Worthington. Spend your mornings by the beach, afternoons sipping mai tais and evenings hitting up the local bars. Yes please!

Romance in France!

Really impress your loved one and pursue the itinerary of Australia’s latest IT couple Buddy Franklin and Jesinta Campbell’s current European vaycay. This loved up pair have been holidaying in Toulon, France – ooh lala!

Thailand:

If you really need to escape reality ASAP, then do a Blake and Louise, (aka: The Bachelor) who recently fled the Australian spotlight for a romantic five-star secluded villa stay at the Infinity Residences and Resort on the beautiful Thai island resort of Koh Samui.
